Native of New Orleans, Justin Edward a/k/a Justin Molaison started learning piano at age 5. After many years of lessons, Justin quit piano lessons as he did not with to perform in front of people.
Fast-forward 10 years and Justin was playing live shows on his acoustic guitar with several local acts. His style at the time was a cross between rock, pop and folk and he often performed with several acts at the Netural Ground Coffeehouse and Howlin' Wolf.
After graduating from High School in New Orleans, Justin moved to Boston to attend the Berklee School of Music.
Justin spent the next decade in the frigid Northeast honing his skills as a musician. Obtaining a songwriting degree from the prestigious music college, Justin toured in the regional commercial rock band "Full Tilt," and opened for several rock bands including, Shinedown, Sevendust, Three Days Grace and more...
Justin returned to New Orleans where he now performs weekly with The Jukebox Heroes of New Orleans. Justin also continues to write songs that are more singer/songwriter and as had the opportunity to co-write with several area artists in the rock, pop, country, folk and funk idioms.
He is currently the co-writer and founding member of the genre splitting group Oak and Altar (oakandaltar.com) and you can find him advocating for musicians as an entertainment attorney in the Greater New Orleans Area
